Public Hospital Postcode Restrictions

Dr McGinness gladly caters for both public and privately insured patients.

Recent restrictions introduced in October 2023 at Dr McGinness' public hospitals have restricted public waitlist bookings to those patients from only Northern Sydney and Northern Beaches postcodes. This unfortunately means we are now unable to book patients from outside this area onto any public waitlist. 

For those out-of-area patients without private health insurance all efforts will be made to arrange surgery at one of Dr McGinness' private hospitals while minimising out of pocket costs.
